Dixon, Chargers overwhelm Rams

Milan Dixon rushed for three scores, and Clark’s defense registered five turnovers in a 39-0 victory over visiting Rancho on Friday in the season opener for both teams.

Quarterback Andre Turner ran four times for 90 yards and a score as the Chargers led 18-0 at halftime. Turner also tossed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Clifton Smith in the third quarter.

Chargers sophomore linebacker Robert Ahearn recorded five sacks, and teammate Alexander Floyd added a 69-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
