ROUNDUP: Murillo helps Sundevils to Northeast title

Anthony Murillo scored two goals Wednesday as Eldorado’s boys soccer team secured the outright Northeast League title with a 5-0 win over visiting Valley.

Ruben Duran and Luis Cruz each had a goal and two assists for the Sundevils, who got a goal from Juan Contreras.

Daniel Perez and Sammy Tapia combined on the shutout.

Coronado 2, Silverado 1 — At Silverado, Jordan Yergensen and Jacob Thompson each scored a goal as the Cougars wrapped up the outright Southeast League crown by edging the Skyhawks.

Xavier Martinez scored for Silverado.

Tech 2, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, Edwin Lopez’s goal with six minutes left lifted the Roadrunners past the Gators.

Rafael Munoz’s goal gave Tech a 1-0 halftime lead.

Green Valley’s Sergio Gutierrez scored with 11 minutes left in the second half to tie the match before Lopez notched the winner.

Liberty 2, Foothill 1 — At Liberty, Danny Musovski netted the tie-breaking goal midway through the second half as the Patriots nipped the Falcons.

Herman Toennessen also scored for Liberty.

Dakota Maack tallied Foothill’s goal.

Las Vegas 1, Rancho 0 — At Las Vegas High, Jimmy Bravo scored a first-half goal, and the Wildcats went on to blank the Rams.

Alejandro Wence and Enrique Adame shared the shutout for Las Vegas.

Basic 1, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Edel Munoz’s second-half goal allowed the Wolves to tie the Dragons.

Jacob Fox scored in the first half for Del Sol.

Chaparral 5, Canyon Springs 2 — At Chaparral, Jose Zavala scored three goals to help the Cowboys cruise past the Pioneers.

Oscar Estrada and Jesse Granados each tallied a goal for Chaparral.

Eduardo Durant and Jonathan Martinez scored for Canyon Springs.

Sunrise Mountain 1, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Alexis Verrios’ goal allowed the Jaguars to tie the Miners.

Mario Ahumanda scored for Sunrise Mountain.

GIRLS

Pahrump Valley 14, Moapa Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Melissa Ewing and Sydney Sladek each had four goals and an assist, and the Trojans used nine second-half goals to rout the Pirates.

Jenny Simon added three goals, and Janet Garcia scored twice for Pahrump. Kristen Young also scored for the Trojans, who got two assists from Terah Larmouth.

Kiaya Nuack didn’t face a shot on goal in recording the shutout.

Faith Lutheran 4, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, Dani Tharaldson scored two goals, and Morgan Bracey posted a goal and an assist to lead the Crusaders to a win over the Eagles.

Kristen Uy had a goal for Faith Lutheran.
