Roundup: Lone Peak knocks off five-time state champ Arbor View

Jocelyn Bybee scored two goals in the second half to lead Lone Peak (Utah) to a 4-0 girls soccer win over Arbor View in Highland, Utah, on Friday.

Lone Peak’s Nicole Ray and Katie Houston each had a goal and an assist, and Katie Schirmer had two assists for the Knights.

Legacy 7, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, the Longhorns scored five goals in the first half as they rolled past the Eagles.

Legacy’s Gabriella Lancaster and Isabella Skrinjaric each scored three goals and added an assist, and Sarah Bobarrubias also scored a goal.

Madison Manns scored both goals for the Eagles.

Bishop Gorman 1, Bishop Manogue 0 — At Reno, Colbi Rohr netted the game’s only goal in the 56th minute to lift the Gaels over the Miners in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Taylor Cox assisted on Rohr’s goal, and Hannah Lee and Kirsten Kircher combined for Bishop Gorman’s shutout.

Bishop Gorman 5, Truckee 1 — At Reno, Jaden Terrana netted a hat trick to power the Gaels past the Wolverines, 5-1.

Kate Swanis and Taylor Cox also had goals for the Gaels.

Bishop Gorman’s Marissa Garcia had two assists, and Colbi Rohr and Sophie Baldizan each had one.

Faith Lutheran 3, Bishop Manogue 0 — At Reno, Madison Sonerholm had a goal and an assist to power the Crusaders over the Miners in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Amelia McManus and Maggie Shuirman each scored for the Crusaders, and Kennedy Lazenby and Riley Divich each had assists.

Naia Mesalic had four saves in the shutout for Faith Lutheran.

Reno 1, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Reno, the Crusaders surrendered a goal with 12 minutes remaining in regulation as they fell to the Huskies in the Howell Memorial Tournament.

Coronado 5, Sparks 1 — At Reno, Alysa Caso scored two goals to lead the Cougars to a victory over the Railroaders in the Howell Memorial Classic

Coronado’s Makenna Curcuro added a goal and two assists. Emily Wickens and Jensen Boman also each scored a goal for the Cougars.

Coronado 1, Galena 1 — At Reno, Brenna Heenan scored the lone goal for the Cougars as they tied the Grizzlies in the Howell Memorial Classic.

Bonanza 0, Cheyenne 0 — At Mesquite, the Desert Shiels topped the Bengals on penalty kicks after the teams were scoreless in regulation in the Mesquite Cup.

Cheyenne goalkeeper Jessica Mercado made three saves. Bonanza goalkeeper Alicia Kester had two saves.

Cheyenne 3, Clark 2 — At Mesquite, the Desert Shields scored two second-half goals to come from behind and beat the Chargers in the Mesquite Cup.

Yadira Erives, Emely Torres and Aliyah Thomas each had a goal for Cheyenne, which trailed 2-1 at the half.
