ROUNDUP: Montoya allows visiting Tech to edge Silverado

Rachael Montoya scored on a cross from Kaila West in the 59th minute Wednesday to give Tech’s girls soccer team a 1-0 road win over Silverado.
Susan Melian earned the shutout for the Roadrunners.
Eldorado 1, Rancho 1 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils and Rams each scored a first-half goal to finish in a tie.
Jasmine Marin had Rancho’s goal, and Alexis Sama scored for Eldorado.
Las Vegas 2, Valley 0 — At Las Vegas High, Hadley Weiner and Abby Rodriguez each scored in the first half as the Wildcats blanked the Vikings.
Allie Hammer had the shutout for Las Vegas.
Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Coronado, Nia Moreno had a goal and an assist to lead the Cougars to a win over the Falcons.
Breanna McCallum and Gabrielle Morris also scored for Coronado, and Kaitlyn Fahrner notched the shutout.
Green Valley 4, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Varner had two goals and two assists to lift the Gators past the Wolves.
Kayla Anderson and Cassidy McLean each added a goal for the Gators.
Hailey Beekman made three saves to earn the shutout.
Desert Pines 4, Chaparral 0 — At Desert Pines, Vanessa Gomez, Maydelin Pena, McKenna Anchondo and Edelia Vazquez each scored to give the Jaguars a win over the Cowboys.
Nancy Macias and Cristina Ibarra combined on a six-save shutout for Desert Pines.
Liberty 6, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Sunshine Soriano tallied three goals as the Patriots cruised past the Dragons.
Alexia Gonzalez added a goal and assist for Liberty, which led 6-0 at halftime. Sam Desario and Nicole Cuce also scored for the Patriots, who got two assists from Paige Terlizzi.
Alicia Villa scored for Del Sol.
Canyon Springs 6, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Canyon Springs, Rosaura Guerrero scored four goals to send the Pioneers past the Miners.
Jazmine Eshleman added a goal and three assists for Canyon Springs.
Haleigh Arnold earned the shutout for the Pioneers.
