Returning letter winners (starters): Seven (four)

Top players: SS Kylie Becker (Sr.), 3B Skylar Glaude (Sr.)

Outlook: Becker, a University of Montana commit, and Glaude, a Bridgeport commit, lead a quartet of returning starters for the Falcons, which is aiming for its first Sunrise Region final appearance since 2015.

“It has been a while and the seniors are hungry, but can the underclassmen step it up?” Mayes said. “The squad is young and inexperienced, even with seven returning letter winners. Patience and determination are this year’s keys.

“Learn from mistakes early and finish strong, a trait found at Foothill.”
