ROUNDUP: Sykes, Aggies use nine-run inning to down Panthers

Dacia Sykes was 2-for-3 with a double, and Arbor View’s softball team erupted for nine runs in the fifth inning Tuesday on its way to a 10-6 win at Palo Verde.
Kristina Billante, Letty Valenzuela and Ashlyn Ames each went 2-for-4 with a double for the Aggies.
Breanna Beatty was 2-for-4 with a three-run home run for the Panthers, who trailed 10-0 entering the bottom of the fifth inning.
Melissa Lacro was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Brooke Stover and Lauren Oxford each went 3-for-4 for Palo Verde.
Bonanza 9, Pahrump Valley 6 — At Pahrump, Tori Lind went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs, and the Bengals plated six runs in the final two innings to hold off the Trojans.
Raquell Hoyes added two singles and an RBI for Bonanza.
Whitney Roderick fanned nine batters, and notched an RBI double and a triple to lead Pahrump.
Legacy 16, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Gabby Rinker went 2-for-3 with three RBIs as the Longhorns downed the Desert Shields in six innings.
Alysia Santos went 3-for-5 with a double.
Tyler Asing and Vanessa Sanders each went 3-for-3 for Cheyenne.
Spring Valley 13, Clark 0 — At Spring Valley, Katie Campo went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two runs and an RBI, and the Grizzlies used an 11-run second inning to down the Chargers in five innings.
Sindy Cummings was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI, and Jessica Reed went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs for Spring Valley.
Ashley Coate tossed a five-hitter and struck out two.
Julia Hagen was 2-for-3 for Clark.
Desert Oasis 13, Western 0 — At Western, Lenzi Cram threw a three-hitter with five strikeouts to lead the Diamondbacks to the five-inning win.
Emily Heinz tripled for Desert Oasis, which scored eight runs in the top of the first.
Shadow Ridge 14, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Eliana Giribaldi went 3-for-3 with three triples and three RBIs as the Mustangs routed the Crusaders in five innings.
Krislyn Campos went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs for Shadow Ridge, which had 18 hits.
Tana Feiner gave up just one hit with two strikeouts and one walk for the Mustangs.
Durango 21, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Dallas Boyce tossed a three-hitter with six strikeouts, and Kendall Short went 3-for-4 with two triples and two RBIs as the Trailblazers tamed the Mountain Lions in five innings.
Cat Smith was 4-for-5 with an RBI double, and Mindy Larson finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs for Durango, which got an RBI double from Katie Moore.
Kira Felise had an RBI single for Sierra Vista.
Cimarron-Memorial 19, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, winning pitcher Michelle Knott went 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the Spartans routed the Rattlers in five innings.
Katy Rusk went 2-for-3, and Sarah Murphy added two hits for Cimarron, which took advantage of five errors by Mojave.
Moapa Valley 16, Canyon Springs 12 — At Canyon Springs, McCall Smith went 3-for-5 with a triple and Summer Owens tripled, singled and drove in three runs as the Pirates outlasted the Pioneers.
Winning pitcher Chanel LaCroix helped her cause with two hits.
Natasha Montano had a double and two RBIs, and Ciera Berkemeyer went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Canyon Springs.
Indian Springs 19, Mountain View 4 — At Indian Springs, Baylee McCormick was 3-for-3 with a triple and seven RBIs as the Thunderbirds downed the Saints in five innings.
Cheyanne Noyes went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and Brandi Bryl was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs for Indian Springs, which scored 12 runs in the second inning.
Cristin Swartz homered for Mountain View.
Lake Mead 25, Sandy Valley 15 — At Sandy Valley, Taylor Vetter went 3-for-5 with three runs and five RBIs to help the Eagles beat the Sidewinders.
Taylor Badua-Kono and Shelbie Lewis added three hits each for Lake Mead, which led 8-0 after the first inning.
