Women get in stun-gun fight at mall

Shocking video shows a stun gun being used in a fight between two women Friday at a Philadelphia mall.

Mike Napolitano, who filmed the fight, said the fight started off between two couples.

“One couple, they were like a family and all, with a young child in a stroller,” he told NBC Philadelphia.

The video shows the women punching each other and falling to the ground before you hear what sounds like a stun gun go off and see sparks fly.

Several people try to pry the two women apart before mall security showed up.

Mall security confirmed the fight broke out at about 2:30 a.m.

Man attacks police officer at Walmart

A New Jersey man was arrested Thursday night for getting into an argument with a Walmart manager and attacking a police officer.

Richard Ramos became “belligerent” while arguing with another shopper over a TV, according to police. He attacked a police officer who responded when the manager called for help, police said.

Officers doused Ramos with pepper spray before arresting him and charging him with aggravated assault of an officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to the Star-Ledger.

Man’s arm slashed to bone during parking spot fight

Two men were arrested Thursday night in Virginia after an argument over a Walmart parking spot turned physical.

Ronnie Sharp, 61, and Christopher Jackson, 35, were arguing over a parking spot at a Walmart in Claypool Hill, Va., when one of the men threatened to use a gun, police told WVVA.

Sharp then used a knife to cut Jackson’s arm, slicing to the bone.

Both men were arrested before being released on bail. Jackson was treated at a local hospital before being taken to jail.

Cop breaks wrist while breaking up brawl

A police officer was injured Thursday night while breaking up a fight at a Southern California Walmart.

Shoppers in the parking lot of the Walmart in Rialto, Calif., a San Bernardino suburb, grew impatient with people who were cutting in line and began fighting, police told NBC Los Angeles.

A police officer broke his wrist while trying to stop the fight, which involved at least three people. Two of the people have been taken into custody.

Two other fights broke out at Walmart’s Rialto location Thursday night, both inside the store over merchandise.

Man shot after dragging cop with car

Charges have been filed after a shoplifting suspect was shot by police after he dragged a cop through a parking lot with his car.

Police reported to a theft in progress Thursday night at a Kohl’s in Romeoville, Ill., a Chicago suburb.

Officers waited outside the store and two men exited with a shopping cart full of merchandise. One of the men ran toward a black Pontiac Sunfire, closing the door on the arm of an officer who caught up with him.

The officer was unable to remove his arm as the man drove away, dragging the officer with him, police told the Chicago Tribune.

A second officer repeatedly ordered the man to stop the vehicle, then fired three to four shots at the driver, according to police.

The driver was wounded in the left arm and had not been charged as of Friday morning. A passenger in the car and a third man arrested in the store face felony charges.

Man fatally stabbed at San Diego-area mall

A man was stabbed early Friday morning during a Black Friday event in Carlsbad, Calif., according to police.

Javier Covarrubias, 18, stabbed another man in the stomach outside Westfield Plaza Camino Real just after 12:30 a.m., police told NBC San Diego.

Covarrubias fled the scene with another person, but was arrested a short time later. The second person has not been located by police.

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries. His condition was not available as of Friday afternoon.

Utah woman trampled at Walmart by Black Friday shoppers

A woman was trampled by fellow shoppers at a Walmart in Clinton, Utah, on Thursday night.

Police told the Salt Lake Tribune that store employees brought out a pallet of computer tablets around 8 p.m. and were in the process of cutting off the cellophane when about 200 shoppers rushed forward to grab the items. A video of the incident was posted to YouTube.

The woman was knocked over and stepped on, according to police, but was unhurt.

Man shot while trying to wrestle TV from would-be robber

Las Vegas police say a shopper carrying a big-screen TV home from a Target on Thanksgiving was shot by a thief about 9:45 p.m.

The victim was carrying the TV near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road when someone fired warning shots, causing him to drop the TV. As the victim tried to wrestle the TV away from the robber, the robber shot him in the leg, according to the Associated Press.

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
