Family offers reward to get ‘mom back’

The family of an 81-year-old woman who has been missing for more than three weeks is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to her recovery.

“We just want mom back,” said Carol Holt, daughter of the missing woman, Opal Parsons.

Parsons went missing from her home near Charleston and Nellis boulevards on Aug. 30. The lights and television were still on inside the house and her ATM cards were later used at Sam’s Town on Boulder Highway at Flamingo Road.

Heritage United Methodist Church is also accepting donations to increase the reward.

Anyone with information about Parsons’ disappearance can call Las Vegas police.
