Human bones found in North Las Vegas construction site

North Las Vegas police are investigating human remains found in a construction site Friday night.

A construction crew discovered what appeared to be bones in a dirt lot in the 4700 block of Losee Road.

North Las Vegas police went to the scene and decided to wait until sunup Saturday to do a thorough investigation, officer Chrissie Coon said.

The bones were confirmed to be human, Coon said, and detectives were searching the site to see if there were any additional remains.
