Jacko auction has some wacky stuff

Michael Jackson's father, Joe, has gone on a tear against the biggest auction of the year because he didn't get a piece of the pie, says auction giant Darren Julien.

Before MJ died, he commissioned Colombostile to create handmade Italian furniture for an English pad he planned to use on tour. Once he died, Colombostile was stuck with the bill. It asked Julien's Auctions to auction everything.

So tons of MJ items hit the mezzanine at Planet Hollywood on Monday, such as a 16-foot-long, $250,000 curved, gold-leaf couch; a crystal-encrusted chair; and teeth molds MJ used to create his "Thriller" fangs.

Anyway, Julien says Joe's assistant called and passed along Joe's message: "Do you want me to support your auction? I'll cause you problems if you don't."

"He wanted money," Julien says. Julien said "no," and within an hour or two, Joe posted online that Julien's Auctions was selling stolen MJ items.

"I consider it an honor he's against us, because I wouldn't want to be involved in anything he's for," Julien told me Monday.

These are Julien's biggest auction lots yet at the hotel, free for your inspection today through June 27. Among hundreds of items (as you can see at JuliensAuctions.com):

MJ's "Beat It" shirt. Guitars of Prince, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix. Huge lots from William Shatner, J.J. Abrams and the estate of Gene Roddenberry, including a Shatner motorcycle and Leonard Nimoy's winter "Spock" jacket from the 2009 film. The last shirt Tupac Shakur wore before he was shot to death, plus his Hummer and rings. Anna Nicole Smith's Mercedes. Cher's jewelry. Bob Mackie's Cher outfits. Barbershop chairs from the first "Ocean's Eleven." Swaths of Ronald Reagan's hair, so you can clone him. And Marilyn Monroe's chest X-rays.

If you love me so much, buy me the couch Monroe laid on during shrink visits, thanks.

HOLLY'S CO-FRIENDS CHEER HER

Holly Madison and co-friends from her new reality TV show, "Holly's World," celebrated its premiere episode on E! Sunday night at the sports book of Planet Hollywood. The group drew the attention of hundreds.

When TVs flashed an image of Madison's ex, Criss Angel, her co-friends said "ewwww" while Madison forehead-smacked herself and kept her eyes covered for a long time.

I've got Denise Truscello photos on my blog of Madison and the co-friends: "Peepshow" singer Josh Strickland, alcohol's buddy Laura Croft and little-girl-voiced Vegas native Angel Perrino, sporting her new and improved breasts.

REMEMBERING RODNEY

I asked the great Dom Irrera about his late, good friend Rodney Dangerfield while we were talking about Irerra's shows this Thursday though Saturday at the Palms' Playboy Comedy Club.

He says no matter how many drugs Dangerfield dumped into his body, he kept ticking.

"He was like Rasputin. You just couldn't kill him," Irrera says. "He lived to (82) in an unhealthy life.

"He said to me on his 80th birthday, 'Hey kid, you want to get (expletive) up, baby?'

"I go, 'Rodney I don't smoke dope.'

"He had that old jazz, beatnik talk. He goes, 'All right, Daddy, I'll see you in about 15!'"
