Motorcyclist killed in early Sunday morning crash

A 20-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a car early Sunday morning, according to a City of North Las Vegas release.

Officers responded to the crash about 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of Ann Road and Decatur Boulevard. The preliminary investigation suggests the motorcycle was going eastbound on Ann Road when it collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling northbound on Decatur Boulevard.

Witnesses said the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed prior to the crash. The three occupants of the Camaro had minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office after his family has been notified.
