Police identify Las Vegas woman killed in crash with teen driver

A Las Vegas woman who died in a three-car wreck Sunday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

A 17-year-old driver ran a red light, police said, and collided with Nneka Geter-Easterling, 42, in her Mustang. The Mustang spun and collided with another car, according to police.

Geter-Easterling died on the scene, and two teenage occupants in the Mustang were transported to University Medical Center with severe injuries.

The drivers of the other cars were not injured.

This is the eighth traffic fatality in Las Vegas police’s jurisdiction in 2014.
