Producer, stars screening ‘Spread’

Ashton Kutcher is in town for tonight's screening of the romantic comedy "Spread" at Brenden Theatres at the Palms.

He plays a womanizer opposite Anne Heche, who plays a scorned lover.

The movie is being produced by Kutcher's Katalyst production company.

Kutcher, Heche and others are walking the red carpet about 6:30 p.m. It's open to the public.

At 5:30 p.m., Kutcher is appearing on Diggnation, the pop culture-centric Internet TV show, which is taking place in The Pearl, the Palms concert venue. It's also open to the public.

Digg founder Kevin Rose, who grew up in Las Vegas, co-hosts the weekly podcast with Alex Albrecht, co-creator of podcast hit "The Totally Rad Show," which is described as a geek news show.

The Internet superstars, both 32 years old, discuss the most popular stories that surface on Digg.com, a social-bookmarking site Rose transformed into a blockbuster success.

Flamingo headliner Marie Osmond will reign as "Woman of the Year" at the Nevada Ballet Theatre's Black & White Ball on Jan. 23 at Paris Las Vegas. After debuting on "The Andy Williams Show" at age 3 with her brothers' act, The Osmond Brothers, she had a No. 1 hit at age 13 in 1973 with "Paper Roses." A year later, she teamed up with brother Donny on "Leaving It (All) Up to You," which reached No. 4 on Billboard's music charts. Bette Midler received the honor for 2009. ...

Two of the bachelor millionaires on VH1's new reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" are from Las Vegas. The two Las Vegans are 38-year-old TJ Diab, CEO of Johnny Love Vodka, and 31-year-old Corey Thomas, director/founder of The Web Squad. VH1 estimated Diab's worth at $6.5 million and Thomas' at $5 million. Both made it past the first round, which premiered Sunday with 17 contestants.
