Stormy weather rolls through the Las Vegas valley again

Thunderstorms rolled into the Las Vegas Valley Tuesday night, bringing rain mostly to Henderson, according to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas.

Meteorologist Cris Stachelski said as of 10:25 p.m., most of the rain was falling south of U.S. Highway 95, near Henderson, where 0.02 inches of rain fell. There were some reports of hail falling in Seven Hills about 9 p.m. Storms also hit parts of the northwest valley, Stachelski said.

Wednesday's forecast shows a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms for the valley. Thursday's forecast shows a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms in the morning, and a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
