America’s do-nothing Congress
According to a recent news story, Congress is unlikely to vote on any major legislation before the November elections. So does that mean that members of Congress are not working for the next six months while they fundraise and campaign to keep their jobs?
I thought their job was to make life better for the American people, not to take a six-month vacation. Well, maybe we are better off. At least they aren’t messing things up worse.
