LETTER: California license plates dot the Las Vegas landscape

Many years ago, the Nevada DMV reported thousands of California license plates on our roads and evidently did nothing. This is negative for Nevadans, and it certainly doesn’t financially benefit the DMV.

Twice, I counted the plates at Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard for 30 minutes (34 California plates) and for one hour on another day (57 California plates), eliminating 10 percent or 15 percent as duplicates.

Wish I could earn $10 for every violation upon their mandated registration with the Nevada DMV. Then I could stop hanging out at street corners.
