LETTER: LA mayor throws a tantrum

Because President Donald Trump is fulfilling a campaign promise and rounding up people who are here illegally, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is throwing a tantrum (“LA to give cash aid over ICE sweeps,” July 12 Review-Journal). I’d like to know what the mayor intends to give new immigrants who follow the law and are here legally but struggle to make ends meet. What a recipe for disaster.
