LETTER: On the rule of law and due process

In her April 23 column, Debra J. Saunders writes that Democrats arguing for “due process” are pandering for votes, while Republicans argue that most Americans want “the rule of law.” Isn’t “due process” part of “the rule of law”? What we now have is no rule of law, as everyone wants his own interpretation of that phrase. Anarchy has become the preferred form of government.
