LETTER: Sheriff candidate gets raw deal

One of the cornerstones of the American legal system is that a citizen is considered innocent until proven guilty. I just concluded reading the Friday Review-Journal article on Kevin McMahill, former Clark County undersheriff and a candidate for sheriff. Because no charges were ever filed, read the first sentence of this letter again.
