LETTER: The stock market takes a major tumble

The media attributed the big drop in the stock market last week to concerns about the coronavirus outbreak. This is erroneous.
The coronavirus will affect a few stocks on the exchange. On the other hand, a big win by socialist Bernie Sanders will affect the entire market and the entire U.S. economy.
If Sen. Sanders wins the presidency, say goodbye to the country’s booming economy.
