LETTER: What about the votes of people who die before Election Day?

Based upon available demographic statistics, approximately 800,000 voter-age citizens in this country will die prior to Election Day during this calendar year. Approximately 90,000 will die in the month prior to Election Day. If these voters cast an early vote and die prior to the election, will or should their votes count?
