Oakland Raiders — soon to be in Las Vegas — sit for the national anthem

As a longtime opponent of crony capitalism, I was dismayed by our state government coming up with three-quarters of a billion dollars to help build a stadium for the Oakland Raiders. But I am writing because I watched the Sunday night game between the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins and saw the Raiders, almost in unison, sitting on their bench while the national anthem was played. Disgusting!

I hope it is not too late to stop the relocation of this team. Can’t we leave these anti-American millionaires in California where most people hate their country anyway? Please, don’t make us pay to bring these fools here.
