Take a knee for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting

On Monday, I awoke to hear the news about what occurred on the Strip Sunday night. It was with this event in mind that I decided to emulate the NFL players and take a knee.

I took a knee to offer my sympathy and condolences to the family members and loved ones of victims who did not survive this horrific event. I took a knee to pray for the survival and quick recovery of those transported to University Medical Center and other area hospitals. I took a knee to thank the event attendees and first responders who came to the aid of the fallen. I took a knee to offer my gratitude to Metro police for their quick response and bravery in their attempt to take out the shooter. I take a knee to thank all the citizens who rushed to blood banks to donate much-needed blood.

Lastly, I take a knee to say God Bless America.

I noticed recently that euphemisms are commonly used by progressives in order to make the agenda they support seem less harsh or unpleasant.
