UNLV professor’s comments an example of what’s wrong with higher ed today

The hiring requirements for UNLV must be very lax if assistant professor Tessa Winkelmann is any example (“UNLV class erupts after professor blames Trump for shooting,” Saturday Review-Journal). This individual should not be teaching grade school let alone at a university. Ms. Winkelmann is the perfect example of what is wrong in the educational system today. Instead of teaching facts, she is giving out her feelings and prejudices. I hope her students can decipher the difference.

I feel sorry for her students. They are getting a really lopsided view of the United States.
