Georgia fan Samuel L. Jackson trolls Oregon on Twitter

Samuel L. Jackson is a diehard Georgia football fan, but instead of taking shots at rivals Georgia Tech, Florida or Auburn on Saturday, the actor trolled Oregon on Twitter after the Ducks were whipped 62-20 by Utah.

"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you."

Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration? That was from one of Jackson's speeches from "Pulp Fiction." Here's what the actor actually posted: "So I'm guessing Oregon's ranking by reputation is coming to an end? #rude awakening."

Check out the big brain on Brad! Jackson's words proved prophetic, as the previously No. 13 Ducks dropped out of The Associated Press Top 25 for the first time since 2009.

LOW TIDE

On the subject of Georgia, the No. 8 Bulldogs are favored by 2½ points over No. 13 Alabama in Saturday's Southeastern Conference showdown in Athens, Ga. — snapping the Crimson Tide's streak of 72 straight games as favorites.

The last time Alabama was an underdog was in the 2009 SEC title game, when it upset Tim Tebow's Florida Gators as 5-point 'dogs. The Tide went on to win the national title and have been favored in every game since then. Until this week.
