Las Vegas NHL team adds Robert Morris assistant coach as amateur scout

Las Vegas’ NHL expansion team made another hire Friday, announcing the addition of Mark Workman as an amateur scout.

Workman joins the team from Robert Morris University where he served as an associate head coach from 2013-16. Before that, he was an assistant coach from 2009-13. In his previous role, he worked mainly on the penalty-kill unit and with Robert Morris’ defensemen.

Before that, he worked at Brown University and was the head coach at College of St. Scholastica. He joins Raphaël Pouliot, Peter Ward, Kent Hawley, Erin Ginnell and Bruno Campese as the team’s amateur scouts. Scott Luce was tabbed as the director of amateur scouting.
