Craven, 52, was named senior vice president for the Las Vegas team on Thursday. His already-defined role has him overseeing the construction and operation of the team’s practice facility in Summerlin, the build-out of the team’s locker room at T-Mobile Arena, along with identifying the team’s eventual American Hockey League affiliate and establishing a relationship with the AHL team .
“It’s just a title,” Craven said. “It really doesn’t change anything. Whatever hat Bill and George wants me to wear, I’ll wear.”
The Whitefish, Montana, resident played 18 years in the NHL with Detroit, Philadelphia, Hartford, Vancouver, Chicago and San Jose.
