‘Cyborg’ takes fight at featherweight after Rousey loss

It appears Ronda Rousey's loss to Holly Holm is having implications even beyond the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino's plan to begin cutting weight in anticipation of a potential mega-fight with Rousey is at least on hold.

Justino, the 145-pound champion for Invicta Fighting Championships, had announced her next fight would be at 140 pounds. The organization announced Monday, however, Justino will again defend her featherweight belt in the main event of a card on Jan. 16 at The Hangar at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Daria Ibragimova, who has five first-round submissions during her current seven-fight winning streak, will challenge Justino for the title at Invicta 15.

Also, Renata Souza will defend her strawweight title against DeAnna Bennett and UFC veteran Angela Hill will make her Invicta debut against Jodie Esquibel.
