Here are the 10 highest-attended UFC events to date — VIDEOS

UFC officials hope their biggest star can attract the largest crowd to ever watch one of the organization’s events live when Ronda Rousey headlines UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday.

Etihad Stadium will be configured for 70,000 fans but a sellout won’t be required to break the record.

UFC 129, featuring a welterweight title bout between Georges St. Pierre and Jake Shields drew 55,724 fans to Rogers Centre in Toronto on April 30, 2011.No other event has come close.

St. Pierre, who retired as champ in 2013 and has recently hinted at a comeback, is the UFC’s most proven draw. He headlined three of the five most-attended events in the organization’s history.

Rousey’s highest figure to date was 17,654 fans at Staples Center to see her beat Cat Zingano in February.

She will undoubtedly shatter that mark this week.
