Burke to replace Carrot Top at LVMS roast
November 30, 2009 - 6:30 pm
Kevin Burke, star of the hit Broadway show, “Defending the Caveman,” will replace Carrot Top as host of Wednesday afternoon’s roast of 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Burke – star of the longest-running solo play in Broadway history – will join the Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers as they get the opportunity to take their best comedic shots at Johnson, the four-time Cup Series champion, in the Neon Garage’s Blackjack Club at LVMS.
Carrot Top is unable to host due to a family emergency.
“Defending the Caveman” is playing at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
