Rawle Alkins, the 17th-rated basketball player by ESPN and the 247Sports.com composite rankings, is visiting UNLV today.

Alkins, a 6-foot 5-inch guard from New York, tweeted that he is making the trip. He also has made an official visit to St. John's and taken unoficial trips elsewhere.

Multiple schools have offered him scholarships, including Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and North Carollina.

Alkins plays for Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina.
