UNLV-Arkansas State football game could be delayed

Arkansas State has asked UNLV to move its 2017 football game scheduled for Sam Boyd Stadium back two years, but the Rebels have not committed to making that change.
They could move the game, currently scheduled for Sept. 2, 2017, but want to examine the situation more carefully before agreeing to switch.
Arkansas State wants to delay the game so it can schedule a game at Nebraska, which would pay a guarantee of $1.65 million.
UNLV has agreed to a home-and-home with the Red Wolves, with a game scheduled in Jonesboro, Ark., in 2018.
