An assault suspect’s big mouth got him into even more trouble in court where he faced charges after allegedly attacking a bus driver.
Thomas Crum is seen in a video getting onto an Albuquerque bus when his bus pass wouldn’t work, KRQE reported. The driver refuses to allow him on and that’s when police said Crum pulled out a knife and threatened the bus driver before knocking him out cold.
Crum was arrested and appeared in court. “I would like you to release me on my own recognizance on the simple fact that I will not brandish arms,” he said. “I do not carry a gun.”
A bond of $10,000 was set for Crum, but as he was being escorted out of court, he had some extra words.
“Don’t touch me man, don’t touch me dog, you already know what’s up,” Crum is heard saying on video. “I’m not afraid of you or that f—-ing judge.”
A contempt of court charge was added to Crum’s pending aggravated assault charge.
