Boy kicked out of restaurant for Ninja Turtles shirt

A 4-year-old Georgia boy’s parents were mystified when he was kicked out of a restaurant for not adhering to the “Gentleman’s Dress Code.”

Lewis Roberts was wearing a green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sleeveless shirts when he went with his family to Atlanta’s Tavern at Phipps and was told he would have to leave, because the restaurant’s “Gentlemen’s Dress Code” applied to “gentlemen of all ages,” according to the hostess.

When upper management found out about the incident, they apologized, saying the manager on duty that day was in training and had a “gross misunderstanding of our policy,” according to 11 Alive.
