Boy released by annoyed kidnapper after singing gospel song for 3 hours

A 9-year-old boy who was kidnapped from his Atlanta yard recently sang gospel music until his kidnapper got annoyed and kicked him out of the car.

Police told WXIA-TV that Willie Myrick sang “Every Praise” for three hours after being grabbed from in front of his home. Myrick told police the man finally pulled the car over and told him to leave and not tell anyone what happened.

Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Hezekiah Walker, who performed the song, flew to Atlanta after hearing the story to meet Myrick.

“I just wanted to hug him and tell him I love him,” Walker said.
