The North Las Vegas Police Department is teaming up with Farmer Boys to host its first Coffee with a Cop event from 8 to 10 a.m. June 4 at Farmer Boys, 2341 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Coffee with a Cop provides a relaxed environment for residents and officers to come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues and build relationships. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction. Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
