Del Webb’s Club at Maderia Canyon launches new plans

Four new model homes debut today at Del Webb's Club at Madeira Canyon as part of the builder's offering of eight fresh home designs.

The Club at Madeira Canyon offers resident-exclusive community center and amenities, overviews of Las Vegas and home prices starting from the low $300,000s.

The guard-gated enclave is located within the 487-acre Madeira Canyon master-planned community in southern Henderson, adjacent to Anthem.

It offers such amenities as walking trails, a arroyo, a 19-acre community park with lighted ball fields, sports courts, splash pad and play equipment and Wallin Elementary School.

While the location offers a private feel, Madeira Canyon affords residents nearby access to many established conveniences, including shopping and entertainment, restaurants, golf and recreation, schools and parks.

"Our new-home offerings at Club at Madeira Canyon allows us to offer homebuyers fresh, innovative floor plans at affordable home prices," said Lindsay Motley, vice president of sales for Del Webb in Southern Nevada. "We are excited to introduce both single- and two-story home designs to meet the needs of our consumers, such as those looking for spacious floor plans in a prestigious location."

Homes range from 2,354 to 4,574 square feet, offering as many as five bedrooms, 4½ baths, two- and three-car garages. In addition, there are great rooms, dens, lofts, game rooms and media rooms.

Del Webb includes a variety of standard features, such as granite kitchen countertops, Whirlpool appliances, tile flooring, covered patios and front-yard landscaping.

The Club also offers Del Webb's "Greenbuilt" features, helping homeowners conserve energy and save money, according to Motley.

Features include blown-in insulation, low-e windows, tankless water heaters and 15 SEER-rated air conditioning systems and Energy Star appliances. The homes are 100 percent Energy Star certified, have an HERS rating of 53 to 56 (up to 47 percent energy savings over a typical new home) and come with a three-year heating and cooling energy usage guarantee, Motley said.

Homeowners have access to a private community center with a fitness center, exercise room, massage rooms, a conference room, multipurpose room, a kid's club and teen lounge with computers and a large-screen television. Residents also have access to a resort-style pool and spa, tennis courts and a basketball court.

The Club has planned social events such as themed pool parties, movie nights and restaurant samplings. Residents may also schedule services such as massage therapy and tennis lessons.

To visit, take the southern portion of the Las Vegas Beltway to Eastern Avenue and go south, past St. Rose Parkway to Anthem Parkway and then turn left. Continue on Anthem about six miles, make a left onto Bicentennial Parkway, a left onto Anthem Highlands Drive and a left onto Democracy. Make a right at the Canyon Retreat roundabout and proceed through the guard gate. Follow signs to the model village. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays, when it opens at noon.
