Pho is a popular Vietnamese street dish consisting of a broth made with rice noodles, herbs and meat. The two main varieties are chicken pho and beef pho. Other phos served at Pho Annie include scallop, chicken curry, beef stew, seafood, beef with brisket, and rare steak with beef tendon. Additional entrees are grilled pork chop over eggs with rice, beef chow fun noodles, chicken teriyaki with stir-fried noodles, bean curd shrimp wraps, grilled salt-and-pepper mackerel, lemongrass chicken, vegetables over steamed rice, pad Thai, crispy fried egg noodles with shrimp, beef or chicken, and egg rolls and shredded pork with vermicelli. Among the clay pots are Vietnamese curry chicken rice, black pepper beef, and roast pork and Chinese sausage. Several goi (salads) are beef jerky with green papaya, shrimp mango, and shrimp and meat with lotus root. Featured appetizers are five-spice sautéed squid, pot stickers, spring rolls with shrimp, and Vietnamese grilled pork stick. Unique beverages are fresh coconut juice, soybean or lychee drink, condensed milk iced coffee, milk tea boba and smoothies (taro, avocado, jackfruit). Pho begins at $6.99, and noodles dishes start at $7.99. Pho Annie is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
