Dunhill to host Rhodes Ranch grand opening

Today and Sunday, Dunhill Homes will host a grand opening for 12 new floor plans to be unveiled at Rhodes Ranch.

The event will showcase nine plans shown as model homes. The builder has announced it also will offer up to $12,500 in incentives through next weekend.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Refreshments include Slidin' Thru gourmet burgers for everyone who registers at the event. The popular gourmet burger truck has even created a special "Dunhill Doosie" slider that will be unveiled today.

Guests can also register to win an Apple iPad that will be given away each day of the grand opening.

Guests at this weekend's event can check out live cooking demonstrations that show off Dunhill's gourmet kitchens. The demonstration will be held in the Geneva 2173 model.

This 2,173-square-foot, single-story home is offered with up to as many as four bedrooms, up to three baths, an oversized master suite with a walk-in closet, gourmet kitchen with a large island and a two-car garage with additional storage or workshop space. This plan is one of four Dunhill Homes offers in the Geneva series at Rhodes Ranch. The Geneva series plans range from 2,173 to 3,649 square feet.

In addition, two other product series are offered. The Monterey series consists of four plans ranging from 1,532 to 2,229 square feet. The Brighton series consists of four plans ranging from 1,838 to 2,846 square feet. Prices start in the $100,000s.

Also this weekend, guests will be treated to demonstrations of the homes' features throughout the homes, including HVAC, insulation, windows and kitchen appliances.

With the new plans, Dunhill Homes offers options that vary per plan. Some may include downstairs guest suites, gourmet kitchens, additional storage areas, additional bedrooms and different office space configurations.

Both single- and two-story homes are available in these new-home designs that offer open space, large great rooms and oversized kitchens. Most include Dunhill Homes' unique signature valet, a cabinet near the front door or garage that has hooks for coats, drawers for mail and shoes and often times a seating benches.
