Las Vegas Harley-Davidson hosts free Buell test rides

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson/Buell is offering free test rides of American-made 2009 model Buell sports bikes starting at 9 a.m. today and tomorrow at the dealership, located at 2605 S. Eastern Ave.

Models include the race-winning 1125R, the Buell Lightning, Firebolt, 9SX City Cross, Blast and Buell's first dual-purpose motorcycle, the Ulysses, which can be ridden on the street and off-road.

The Dealer Demo Event is a way for riders to experience Buell motorcycles first hand. Open to the general public, the demo program allows motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to sample bikes from the 2009 model lineup by test riding the motorcycles and talking to Buell personnel.

Each ride is guided by experienced lead and trail riders. Riders must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid motorcycle license. Proper riding gear including Department of Transportation helmets, eye protection and footwear are required. Both helmets and eye protection are provided for riders who arrive early in automobiles. Las Vegas Harley-Davidson/Buell or Buell event coordinator retains the right to cancel or suspend the demo event activities at any time based on inclement weather or other unsafe riding conditions.

Complimentary food and beverage will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for demo ride participants.
