CA lawsuit claims dangerously high arsenic levels found in wine
Dozens of bottles of wine cited in a lawsuit earlier this week as having dangerously high levels of arsenic were bottled under 31 different brands, Associated Press reports.
The lawsuit alleges the companies are violating state law by knowingly producing and selling arsenic-laced wine and failing to warn consumers, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The odorless and colorless chemical is a highly toxic poison that can cause cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
