Lennar to kick off special sale today
March 7, 2009 - 10:00 pm
Lennar is celebrating its 55th anniversary with the New Home Economic Stimulus Sale today and Sunday.
The promotional event is meant to bring attention to the new government tax credits and feature price cuts on new homes.
The builder offers financing through Universal American Mortgage Co.
Lennar has introduced its Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program at selected new-home neighborhoods nationwide. The program provides assistance to those who experience financial difficulty due to job loss. Qualified homeowners can get up to $1,800 per month for up to six months applied to the homeowner's mortgage payments.
"There is no doubt that people are hesitant to buy a home during theses uncertain times," said Jeff Galindo, vice president of sales for Lennar Las Vegas.
"We have worked diligently to find a solution to the No. 1 customer concern: Job security. Home prices today are the best they've been in years. The Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program eliminates that uncertainty of job security, allowing potential customers to take advantage of record-low new home prices.
"In times of uncertainty the Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program gives families something that they can depend on."
Since being founded 55 years ago, Lennar has grown to become one of the nation's leading home builders.
With hundreds of neighborhoods nationwide, Lennar has distinguished itself by including everything as standard. Its motto is: "Everything you want, everything you need. That's the logic of Lennar."
Sales event hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday.
