New Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center welcomes funny car driver

Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center, which recently opened in the northwest at 5446 Drexel Road just off U.S. Highway 95 and Ann Road next to Team Ford Lincoln, was visited by the Motorcraft/Quick Lance Ford Mustang funny car in October and the driver, Bob Tasca III, just a couple of weeks after that.

Tasca races the funny car in the NHRA Full Throttle Series.

Tasca greeted fans at the tire and auto center, speaking candidly about racing.

"314 mile per hour in 4 seconds ... I just point it and ... go!" Tasca said.

After meeting with fans and signing autographs, Tasca toured the new facility, calling it a "beautiful operation."

Quick Lane provides all the services a car or truck needs most and on your schedule. Appointments can be made, but are not necessary. The auto center is open evenings and on weekends.
