Pair chooses Ryland home

For Jason Booth and his wife, Chelsea, no other floor plan could compare after they saw Ryland Homes' Natalia plan.

The 2,169-square-foot home in Ryland's Catania neighborhood in Henderson became the one they compared all others to, and ultimately the one they purchased and moved into this spring.

"The Natalia had the best layout of any home we saw," Jason Booth said. "We liked that the family room and kitchen were open to each other, and that it had an option for a bedroom on the first floor. The layout was exactly what we had been imagining."

The couple designed their three-bedroom home with a loft on the second floor and an additional bedroom on the first floor. Their home also includes a two-car garage.

"We liked working with Ryland Homes and found everyone to be very flexible with our interests," Jason Booth said. "We changed our minds a few times along the way, and everyone was very accommodating."

This month, Ryland Homes is rolling out a summer special for new home buyers. Through June 30, all new home buyers will receive a Summer Cool Down Package, which includes free window blinds and prewiring for ceiling fans throughout their homes.

"It is just another way we show our home buyers how much we appreciate them," said Catania sales agent Shelly Strait.

The Booths moved into Catania just in time to enjoy the summer at one of Ryland's Henderson communities.

Catania is a gated neighborhood priced in the mid-$100,000s and includes a pool, spa, clubhouse and park just for residents. Located near St. Rose Parkway and Bermuda Road, Catania is near neighborhood shopping and dining as well as St. Rose Hospital's Siena campus, M Resort and the Henderson Executive Airport.

Five two-story plans are available, ranging from 1,572 to 2,169 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and as many as three baths.

Ryland's other Henderson neighborhoods include Jasmine and Cordova Estates.

Jasmine is a collection of large two-story townhomes ranging from 1,479 to 1,682 square feet.

"It is one of the few townhome collections in Henderson and perfect for those who want convenience and amenities," Strait said.

Priced from the low $100,000s, Jasmine offers residents a pool and spa and a community center.

Jasmine is built around a large walking trail, giving residents plenty of opportunity to stroll or exercise within the gated neighborhood.

"Jasmine is also home to Ryland Homes' signature rooftop decks," Strait said. "This is one of the most unique options we offer throughout our Southern Nevada communities."

One block north of Jasmine is the Cordova Estates collection. Like Jasmine, Cordova Estates is in a gated neighborhood and has its own park.

It offers five floor plans, ranging from 2,400 to 3,039 square feet in single- and two-story plans. Each home offers as many as six bedrooms, as many as three baths and garages that can accommodate as many as three vehicles. Prices start in the mid-$200,000s.
