A pregnant teen was critically injured in a road rage incident after an aggressive driver fired a gun at the vehicle in which she was a passenger.
The 18-year-old woman was hit in the eye by the bullet on Sunday night in Reedley, Calif., about one hour southeast of Fresno. She was riding in the car with her 26-year-old husband at the time, police told NBC News.
Police said her husband passed another SUV that was driving slowly. When the driver caught up, at least one bullet was fired into their car.
The woman, who was three months pregnant, was airlifted for emergency surgery. Her condition was not known.
Police are looking for a vehicle described as a light brown GMC Yukon, Suburban or Tahoe made between 2006 and 2012.
