Ryland’s Monteverdi to hold grand opening

Today, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ryland Homes invites the public to check out its newest neighborhood in Southern Nevada. Monteverdi in northwestern Las Vegas. It’s a community of three-story townhomes that all include the builder’s signature rooftop decks. There will be a live radio remote and snow cones from the Oso Ono Shave Ice.

Monteverdi is a resort-style gated community with a neighborhood pool, clubhouse, fitness room, tot lot and walking trails. It is near the northwest area parks and shopping, as well as the 215 Beltway. Three plans are offered, ranging from 1,964 to 2,227 square feet. All are three-story town homes with two-car garages, up to as many as four bedrooms and as many as 3.5 baths.

Energy efficiencies at Monteverdi save homeowners hundreds every year with standard features like tankless water heaters and low-e windows, she said.

“Every Ryland home is significantly more energy efficient than an existing home built just 10 years ago,” Chaudhuri said. “They are not only good for your budget with much lower energy bills, but they are good for our environment as well.”

Homes at Monteverdi start at $184,990 with monthly payments about the same as rental prices of similar homes in the area.

“With these amazing prices, you can own your own home for about the same amount you might spend on rent every month,” Chaudhuri said. “And with great amenities right in your own neighborhood, you won’t even need a gym membership.”

Ryland Homes helps first-time homebuyers to receive down payment assistance. Monteverdi is qualified for the program, Nevada Bond. It can provide first-time homebuyers the ability to finance their down payment and closing costs when using a Federal Housing Administration loan.

Monteverdi and Verada View in Providence can offer the LIFT program, which is an effort between Neighborworks America and the Wells Fargo Foundation that provides down-payment assistance to qualified buyers.

“These are great options for a first-time homebuyer who wants to purchase a home but needs help with the initial down payment or closing costs,” Chaudhuri said. “And we can provide all the information to apply right here in the sales office.”

Today’s grand opening event is free and open to the public. Model homes will be open for preview and reservations are being accepted for available home sites.

“You can also see where our neighborhood amenities will be,” Chaudhuri said. “In addition to the pool and fitness center, residents will have a community barbecue area and two enclosed parks for small dogs. It is a very family and pet-friendly neighborhood.”

Monteverdi’s sales office is at 4650 Ranch House Road. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 or Interstate 15 to the 215 Beltway. Exit Decatur Boulevard, heading south. Turn left on Rice Road and left on Montgomery Street. Turn right on Ranch House Road to the community on the left.
