Shea Homes at Ardiente to hold grand opening for Naples design

Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-restricted community in North Las Vegas, will host a grand opening of its Naples home model March 9 and 10.

A best-selling home model at Encanterra Country Club in Phoenix, the Naples model has a comfortable Old World cottage feel with an open floor plan that makes the home feel much larger than its 1,359 square feet.

The great room is built with 10-foot ceilings and high windows that flood the room with light, with optional bay windows in the office and master suite.

The floor plan makes use of all of its space, featuring two bedrooms with a master suite in the rear of the home for privacy. The home also includes an oversized, two-car garage, two bathrooms and a den.

The Naples model is a SheaXero No Electric Bill Home . Through a blend of energy-efficient features and solar systems, SheaXero homes produce as much electricity as they use, resulting in lower electric bills for homeowners, Tibbitts said. Ardiente isn’t charging extra its solar system in the Naples model, he said.

The home has 14 energy-saving features including solar systems, Jenn-Air Energy Star appliances, Trane energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, low-e vinyl windows and blown-in insulation.

“With our green home, we are ecofriendly and more economical,” homeowners Ray and Adrienne Kristall said. “We actually don’t mind opening our electric bills.”

At the hub of the gated community is a private 20,000 square-foot clubhouse that has two resort-style pools, fitness center, group exercise studio and access to miles of walking trails.
