Student’s body found in Utah school bathroom

A 17-year-old high school senior’s body was found in the bathroom of a southern Utah school Tuesday.

The girl, whose name has not been released, was found around 4:45 p.m. by a teacher at Beaver High School, according to St. George News.

Beaver County School Superintendent Ray Terry said a gun was found next to her body. It is unknown if her death was a suicide.

The school put together a crisis response team to help students affected by her death.
