Summerlin neighborhood offers new designs

Three two-story home plans are now selling in Summerlin's newest neighborhood, Cresta del Sol at Amado by Woodside Homes.

Floor plans range from 2,236 to 2,518 square feet and are priced starting in the mid-$200,000s.

The home designs offer as many as five bedrooms, 2½ baths, den/study, loft, loggia and two-car garage.

The 2,345-square-foot Castalla model features a downstairs master bedroom and an option for a second master bedroom upstairs.

According to Michele Loker, director of sales and marketing for Woodside Homes, the various floor plans and accompanying options allow homebuyers to customize their homes to accommodate their individual lifestyles.

"Woodside Homes has an established reputation for its well-designed, flexible floor plans," she said. "We believe in creating beautiful spaces without compromising function and purpose."

Cresta del Sol at Amado is in Summerlin's newest and most southern village, The Mesa.

The nearly 500 acre village is adjacent to the federally protected Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, offering residents a scenic neighborhood backdrop, as well as a more exclusive living environment.

"The Mesa is one of Summerlin's most scenic villages," said Kevin Orrock, president of Summerlin and executive vice president of master-planned communities for The Howard Hughes Corp.

"Its topography, desert contemporary architectural style and private mountainside location combine to create a unique Summerlin living experience that has proven popular with valley homebuyers," Orrock said.

Amenities located in The Mesa include miles of walking trails; the Mesa Park, a 19-acre village park with three Little League baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic ramadas.

Bishop Gorman High School, a 58-year-old Catholic college preparatory school, also is within the community.

Residents of Cresta del Sol also have access to a neighborhood park and private resident pool, which further complement the social and recreational amenities available throughout Summerlin.

To visit The Mesa village from the Las Vegas Beltway, exit westbound at Russell Road and follow the directional signs to the actively selling neighborhoods. Visit www.summerlin.com for additional information, or www.facebook.com/summerlinlv.
