“The Goonies” is getting a sequel, according to director Richard Donner.
Donner told TMZ in a video interview that a sequel to the ’80s cult classic, in which a group of kids embarks on a wild adventure after finding a treasure map, is finally coming. Donner hopes the movie will star the original cast, according to Mashable.
There’s no word yet on when the film will come to fruition.
